Racial Justice
As part of our mission, we believe that equality is an inherent right for all people including Black, Indigenous, and all people of color (BIPOC). As a nation, we must come to terms with our past, confront the injustices of the present, and build a better tomorrow for future generations.
Our country was founded on the ideals of liberty and justice for all, in a time when liberty and justice did not extend to all people. This injustice continues still. At Empower Records, we stand with Black Lives Matter, which in 2020 has become the largest movement in U.S. history with an estimated 15 to 26 million people participating in protests across the country.
However, there is still much work to be done. Systemic racism is real and true reform is needed to break down the barriers and biases that disproportionately impact people of color today.
What Can You Do

Again, one of the easiest ways to show your support is by signing petitions, and with Change.org it's now easier than ever to add your signature and your voice to petitions that matter to you most. Show up. There are many protests, rallies, and marches where you can lend your support. Listen, learn, repeat, and find out how you can support the movement for racial justice. Act now.
