Founded in 2020, Empower Records is a curator of music for DJs and fans of electronic music. We are a music store celebrating a format that has survived the modern digital revolution of music and reigns supreme for DJs, fans, and collectors all across the globe. It's all for the love of vinyl.

There's nothing like the sound of a record playing, hearing the pop of the static from the needle, or seeing the record spin round and round on the player. Records are both nostalgic and modern and are more popular than ever before outselling and outperforming other music formats. Simply put, vinyl is timeless. Vinyl is a work of art.  

Our Mission

At Empower Records, our mission is to provide a catalog of expertly curated records for DJs and fans. We are not just a record store but we are a small, independently-owned business with a passion for music rooted in the electronica of club culture. As we grow our catalog, we want to be anything but mainstream and hope you'll enjoy digging in our crates. There has never been a better time to start your vinyl collection and If there's a record you can't quite get your hands on, send us a message and we'll do our best to get it for you. We are currently exclusively online proudly operating from Inwood, Manhattan.
